The Spherehead Pillow is like no other pillow I have seen. The design is brilliant. It cradles your head and makes you feel comfortable and safe for a good night’s sleep. I have had no upper back or neck tightness since I got the pillow 3 months ago. I’d recommend this pillow to everyone- we all need this!
I have used many cervical pillows over several decades. The last pillow that I liked gave up the ghost a few years ago, after 10 or more years the memory foam finally lost it’s elasticity. I have since tried several different ones and have not found one that works well for me, until now that is. I was fortunate to have won my pillow in a drawing. I was skeptical when I first saw it, since it’s design is so unusual. I have never seen any other like it. It turns out that design is not just unique, but innovative and functional as well. It was great for me from the first night. I have badly injured both of my shoulders which causes pain and stiffness after lying for hours on my side. Since using this pillow I now wake up with no, or very little, neck and shoulder pain.
I am a side sleeper but this should be good for back sleepers as well. Nothing is good for stomach sleepers. They are sleeping with their necks twisted and their airway compromised. I’m not sure, but the shape of this pillow may even help break the habit for a side sleeper. The small head space and steep wall close to the head, may discourage that position by making it uncomfortable.
It is hard for me to tell for sure, but based on all the memory foam pillows I have had (memory foam is my preference) this seems to be made with a quality foam. I am hoping it will last a long time. The charmeuse fabric of the pillow case is very comfortable on the skin and, it’s winter where I am now, will probably have a cooling effect in hot weather. This pillow is on the upper end of the price range amid the hundreds on Amazon, but I think it well worth the price. I have a collection of the lesser expensive ones that I never use. This pillow gets a definite 5 stars from me.
